Contemporary art for the modern world

Luc Villard

Goethe considered that "from the moment one engages fully, providence also begins.” Whatever you can do or dream of doing, you can achieve it. Audacity contains in itself genius, power and magic. This is what Luc Villard has tried to do: believe in the magic and power of his dream. So no matter the time, no matter the obstacles, if by sheer perseverance, a man can see his dream come true.

Surrounded by his family who never ceased to believe in him, Luc Villard conquered the south of France thanks to the power of his drawings. Settled in a medieval village in Eze, the artist, with chalks, scissors and pastels, has seen his works exported all over the world. From the United States to South Korea, there are many who have fallen in love with the Shadocks, the Villardian critters or his Misses. Creating an image from the abstract, Luc masters color and movement to allow us to see a thousand and one images.
